The next round of Stand-up Comedy 1 class is scheduled to begin at St. Louis Comedy Connection, on Tuesday, August 28 from 7:30-9:30 p.m.
Stand-up Comedy 1 offers an introduction to stand-up comedy writing and performing. For both beginners and comedians with some experience, this class will teach you how to get started, how to improve your material and how to become a better stand-up. Learn to write jokes, tell amusing anecdotes, develop material and find your unique comic voice! Tips will also be shared on how to get started in the St. Louis comedy scene! This class is recommended for adults who have always wanted to try stand-up, but weren’t sure how to get started. There are no prerequisites. The fee is $125 for four consecutive weeks plus a student showcase. Those who register early online, save $25.
Class size is limited to 10. These sessions are held at the Cherokee Place Business Incubator, 2715 Cherokee, St. Louis, MO 63118.
