Police Investigate Three Smash-And-Grab Thefts | News
ST. LOUIS, MO. ( KTVI) – St. Louis police are trying to find some brazen thieves who smashed their way into several stores Thursday morning.
In all, three locations were hit. Police were called to the Radio Shack at Gravois and Gustine in South St. Louis around 5:30 a.m. It appears the thieves used bricks to smash in the front door. It is unclear how much they took.
Several minutes later, police responded to another report at the AT&T store in the 6400 block of Chippewa. Again, thieves smashed the glass front door and got away with an unknown amount of merchandise.
Police say suspects also hit a third location Thursday morning around 5:30 a.m. It happened in Affton at the Caddyshack Saloon on Oldenburg. They got away with at least three flat screen televisions.
Police say no one was in custody. It is unclear if all three cases are related. Police are checking to see if any of the stores have any surveillance cameras.
