Serious Accident Shuts Down Lanes of EB I-44 | News
ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A serious accident on eastbound Interstate 44 is causing a traffic back up at Arsenal. The accident happened around 7:30 p.m. when a car appeared to hit the guardrail and slam into a bridge support.
Authorities say as many as five people were injured and were being rescued from the car. Two lanes of the highway are blocked with crews work the accident.
Drivers looking to take eastbound I-44 in that area should avoid the area.
