A lot of last minute Halloween shoppers are hitting area stores hoping to find the right costume. Maybe they're just looking for something spooky to go with their homes they've turned into haunted houses. Patrick Clark has written a poem about last minute shopping on Halloween.
Double, double toil and trouble
Fire burn and caldron bubble
Scale of dragon, tooth of wolf
Witches' mummy; Maw and gulf.
Last minute shoppers At Johnny Brocks
Demons, witches and warlocks.
Procrastinators and last minute shoppers
Trick or treaters and party hoppers
Looking for costumes, funny and scary
Captains and cardinals and things that are hairy
Knocking on doors and ringing of bells
It's not just for children, as any can tell
So slow down this evening
When you're out in this town
Cause ghosts and goblins will be making the rounds.
